Graydon Plant Powered Skincare

Our bath and skincare products are made locally by Graydon Skincare, located just around the corner from The Broadview Hotel. Inspired by her grandmother’s garden, Graydon Moffat has focused her work on lev-eraging the transformative power of pure, plant-based ingredients to create products that are as effective as they are luxurious. She has stayed connected to her Canadian roots, and where possible uses ingredients grown in Canada. Graydon products are completely free from fillers, toxic chemicals, phthalates, artificial fragrances or colours.

Tiny Record Shop

The curators behind our in-room and library vinyl collections, this tiny shop is the city’s premier destination to track down those impossible-to-find records. The shop has received accolades from NOW Magazine and Indie 88, plus The Globe and Mail and CBC, and has hosted intimate in-store performances with Born Ruffians, Sam Roberts, Preoccupations, and The Dears among others.

Barocco Coffee

If your morning brew has you swooning, thank Nunzio Tumino, founder of Barocco Coffee, a local roaster that supplies our coffee. Nunzio spent almost six decades in the food and beverage industry before launching his own roasting company, or as they call it in Italy, “torrefattore”. Barocco uses modern technology while respecting traditional roasting methods, an approach that has inspired legions of ardent drinkers.

Soul Chocolate

The melt-in-your-mouth chocolate in your mini-bar and on your pillow is from Soul Chocolate, a bean to bar chocolatier located in right here in the east end. Their cacao is sourced through 100% direct trade relationships with dedicated, hard-working farmers, and then lovingly roasted into single origin chocolates.
